Hiza-guruma (Knee Wheel)

This throw can be done on the rear or forward leg. Hiza-guruma is often combined with O-soto-gari. Effective counters involve pushing tori backwards and trapping or grabbing the attacked leg followed with leg or hip attacks such as O-uchi-gari, Ko-uchi-gari, O-soto-gari, Harai-goshi or Uki-goshi.
