The East Coast Invitational is held at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, NJ. I know a very good female kata competitor in Phila, but there is no kata comp. at this tournament. Tremendous when you open several at one time (I have ahd up to 6 open at once!) and play them side-by-side. It allows you to compare the subtle differences among techniques by watching them simultaneously!
